ugrow ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your information when you use our YouTube growth intelligence platform.
2. Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and authentication credentials. We use this solely to provide access to the platform.
YouTube channel data. With your explicit OAuth consent, we fetch read-only data from YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics API. This includes video metadata, performance metrics (views, CTR, watch time, revenue), and channel statistics. We never post content, modify your channel, or request write permissions.
Usage data. We collect anonymized usage information such as feature interactions, page views, and error logs to improve the platform. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the ugrow dashboard and analytics features
- To generate video scoring, boost recommendations, and competitor insights
- To communicate service updates, security alerts, or support responses
- To analyze aggregate usage trends and detect technical issues
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers. Trusted third-party vendors who help us operate the platform (hosting, analytics, email delivery) are bound by confidentiality agreements.
- Legal compliance. When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to users.
5. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, and strict access controls. YouTube OAuth tokens are stored securely and never exposed in client-side code. Despite our efforts, no internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. You may also withdraw OAuth consent at any time via your Google Account settings. To exercise your rights, contact us at the email below.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data and YouTube analytics for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon deletion, we remove personally identifiable data within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized statistics may be retained for analytical purposes.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.
9. Children's Privacy
ugrow is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
